    my 2012 ferrari ff has a small black box with Alpine stamped on it next to the rear view mirror at the top of the windscreen. It has come unstuck in the heat and I'd like to know where it is supposed to be mounted? It's about 1cm by 1cm.

    On the windscreen glass or on the black trim above the rear view mirror?

    My guess it’s a GPS antenna for an aftermarket ICE.

    Anything else aftermarket? That doesn’t look factory installed.

    Well it’s hanging free right now! Nothing else aftermarket. Did Alpine make the ICE?
