want to rewrap all the interior including seats and I have some handyman available. is the original leather or similar products available for sale?
I had been involved in the past with a number of restoration projects to include Ferrari. Ferrari original leather is not Vat dyed. New dyes unfortunately are using water based dyes not like the old dyes. Used to be Scottland had some of the best leathers as no barbed wire fences thus better skins which lessen the number needed and waste. Personally I do not feel Ferrari skins are top notch in quality. So I would look at acquiring skins that raise cattle without barbed fencing, manufacturers that utilize Vat dying process and still use aniline dyes if still available. Check where Rolls or Bentley skins originate and what they use.
