    Anyone know where I can buy a sack of live crawfish? I got a BBQ to attend next weekend and was gonna bring some mudbugs. I have not bought any in probably 10 years, and the place where I got them is long gone. I'm cluless on where to get them now.

    Preferably near west loop area?

    Let me ask my father, he was a seafood distributor, restaurant owner, & the TRA president for 2 years. He still has connections throughout Texas & Harris County.

    No. I never got the impression restaurants would sell a sack of them to you.

    They have to be coming form somewhere. Someone told me about some distributor on 12th street, but they did not know the name of it.

    You can always buy some at Fiesta...but quality may not be the best. I bought some from a seafood place at the Woodlands one year, big size and clean, however it's double the price of Fiesta.

    We always get ours at Woodlands Seafood up on Rayford Rd just east of I-45. The quality is always excellent.
