Im looking to make a collection of tropical locations and car wall papers. If anyone knows some good sites lemme know, all the ones I'm running into are pretty grainy and have 2-3 samples and you have to pay for the rest. Anything from south beach to the carribeans to california, to ferrari/lambo to RX7's is cool. Thanks in advance.

    cars I have.

    www.dieselstation.com
    www.highresautoimages.com
    www.seriouswheels.com
    www.***************.com (then hit "general forums" and "Matt's hi-res hide-out")
www.webshots.com (go in the "community" section, and search for whatever you want, some high res, some not)
www.imagestation.com (same as webshots, relies on members uploading pictures, but you have to register -for free- to do searches and all, member SuperCarFreak has lots of good pics)
www.************* (watch the multimedia forum, it's slow and horrible to browse, but they never miss a new pic!)

I think you should be happy for a while. :D

edit - it's all free, I'm not one to pay for that kind of stuff ;)

re-edit : forgot www.desktopmachine.com , one section cars, the other chicks (not porn, and actually hot somewhat classy pics)

re-re-edit : also forgot www.swrt.com and check out the galley section for media sized (4000xsomething pixels) Subaru Rally pics.

You also have www.supercarfreak.net , but his domain/hosting isn't very stable, and it doesn't always work.

www.allsportauto.com , loads of 1024x768 pics (too small for my desktop, but would be fine for most).

For computer generated landscapes and other pictures, this place is realy good: http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/dbhome.shtml
But, it's sometimes difficult to find ones you don't have to pay for. But, they are there. Navigate using the "free sample" list on the left after you go in the "free" gallery.

Copy/Paste any of these lines into Google:
    Ferrari 1600
    Ferrari 1280
    Ferrari 1152
    Ferrari 1024
    Ferrari 800
    Ferrari 640

Easy, huh? Doesn't matter if you do it on Web or Images - you will see results. If you feel like narrowing results to 360 or 550, etc., by all means do, but if you get "too choosy" with a particular model name (Challenge Stradale, etc.), you may miss the best choices out there, so don't get too anal when specifying models.
