My Dino was restored a few years back. Part of the resto included recovering the dash in mousehair. It is a bit black to be correct, but it's close enough. My problem is that I need a small piece to fabricate a radio blank plate. Any ideas? When I searched threads for mousehair I only found Superformance as a possible source.

Does anyone have a small piece they might want to part with? At most I need a 4" x 8" piece.

    thx

try George Evans in Ohio...I believe he has it by the yard. If not he can probably tell you where else to look. Researched this awhile back but don't have my notes now.

If your dash is still pretty new it shouldn't be too hard getting a match - but watch the 'grain' or natural lay of the fabric. If you orient it on your block off plate in the wrong direction, it will stand out against the dash.

Henk van Lith from http://www.carinteriors.nl, has been able to get hold of the material , it is newly made with the old machinery by the old people.

I may have extra (from Superformance) if you can't find any.

I have pieces left from my restoration of 7580. I bought the material from Dennis McCann in 1989, I believe. Send me a PM and I'll try to find a piece that will work for you.
