Getting ready to reassemble my FI system. Have a bag full of washers I need to replace. Any local places carry these??? I could swear Carguy said he bought them at NAPA...but when I went they had no idea what they were. If I have to mail order, I will... but some body has to sell these for goodness sake?! Honda dealer? BMW dealer?

Any one have any ideas? Tried autozone, carquest, napa, etc...

I can't believe how hard some of these seemingly common parts are to find. If no luck, I will get them from Ricambi... I just wish I had them TODAY... I didn't order ahead of time because I figured everyone would have them...right?! Not.

Take a look in your local yellow pages, see if there are any shops or parts houses that specialize in fuel injection. I know NAPA has some, but if you get the local mouth breather behind the counter, well..........

"what's the application" is the usual mantra from the parts store wanker.

"It's not in your book" is my usual response.

You should be able to source them by size if you call around.

I got mine 2 years ago from the NAPA dealer who happens to be the largest parts house (of 5) in my little town. I think it depends on who you ask and what you say...find an oldster and ask for copper banjo crush washers and take in a used one for sizing.

I had just purchased a pressure gauge (don't recall the brand right now). If turned down now at NAPA, I would call the gauge people as a few came with the kit together with a note in the instructions to use new washers after breaking open the lines to use the gauge.

Jettronic systems were used by Jag, Volvo and VW among others. Any shop that services these cars should have the washers. I just bought a couple from my local independent Volvo mechanic a couple of weeks ago.

When I reassembeled my system I re-annealed my washers and re-used them. Just takes a torch and a couple of minutes. I could definately see using new ones though!

Thanks guys! Verrell...thats a great site... they have the braided hose and the hose clamps too! I love the pics...

But I couldn't find pricing? I will call in the AM and order the stuff. Do they sell individually? Or do I have to buy 100 washers ;)? Is the pricing on the website, or am I just missing it???
