I have a friend who is a big Steelers fan, and wants to go to the superbowl. He knows he can go just get a ticket from the NFL, and is prepared to pay the premium for one from a broker or individual. He is worried that he could end up with a forged ticket etc.. I have 2 questions Does anyone know a good ticket broker, or does anyone have a ticket they want to sell? He plans to pay with a Visa for the fraud protection, but what other measures should one take to ensure they don't get scammed or end up with a forged ticket? Any fchatters going to the Superbowl?

Huh? How will he do that? Look on ebay there are many available averaging about $1400 each it seems for "decent" seats.
Sorry guys I made a typo. I should have said "He knows he can't just go get a ticket from the NFL at face value". He is prepared to spend a few thousand on a ticket, but is concerned he could get scammed etc.. How do you recommend purchasing the ticket? I know a broker is much safer compared to a individual selling a ticket, but they also charge a premium for their services. Thanks for the link BigDog, I will pass it on. Do you think you can get a better deal if you wait until the last minute to get one since people might get a little more desperate to move their ticket or do they all sell for good $$ with no issues?
depends how desperate he is... i bought mine early on since I was a big (still am) a big Shaq fan....
