    What it the recommended location to mount a fire extinguisher in an F355 B?

    Need to drill into the car somewhere?

    I've heard of folk having plates made up to which the extinguisher is bolted - the plate is then bolted to the floor using the front two bolts on the passenger seat so that the extinguisher is the under their knees effectively accross the car

    I have the racing seats and it is mounted behind the driver's seat.

    Thanks for the input guys. I did look at building a bracket that mounts into the seat mounting bolts but then the passenger seat travel gets limited -- probably not a wise move if you need to get to the ECU behind the seat?

    If anyone has other ideas, please share them.

    I can probably mount it with straps to the seat bar....and remove it after each track event?

    I need to mount it before i can play at a couple open track events.
