    this realestate thing is getting so outa hand !!!! i want to move somewhere on the east coast south of jersey. i want water front property with a nice house. it can be on a lagoon but access to ocean, gulf, bay. 4 bedroom home approx 2800 sq ft, 2 car garage. to get something like that in jersey, your going to spend abot 1.5 mill. i guess i missed the florida realestae market for its comparable to here. so where ?????? i want something under 500 K. any suggestions ??

    "East coast waterfront" and "under $500k" don't really go together these days. Maybe on an obscure lake in Montana, certainly not Whitefish or Flathead Lake. Property there is already $7-$10K+ per waterfront foot.

    last year when I was in Norfolk VA visiting a Navy friend, we drove up to Ocean City, MD, and on our way out of Norfolk we came across some very nice areas where there seemed to be a few homes for sale with acreage. If I lived in that area I would love to have a place on Chesapeake Bay.

    sell him a place in your soon to be high rise overlooking the waterfront. Get him in before anyone else gets to the top.

    John, I know of one house down here, that sits on the bay and has access to the gulf. It has a dock...property line looks to be about 90x150 or around there from eyeballing it....It is small though...2 car garage, 1600 sq ft, 3 bedroom....they are asking 595K...but the reason so little is because the house sits quite low and is subject to flooding. FYI.
