Pulled the gas tank from a Fiat X1/9 that I'm resurrecting. The gas tank has a couple of small pinholes in it and rust and corrosion inside.

Anyone have a good place in the Seattle area (Eastside, Westside, Everett, Tacoma..wherever..) to take a tank needing restoration?

    Let me know, thanks.

Thanks Alex. Midwest Bayless sells them new as well. I am wanting to also try out my local gas tank restoration shop option too....hence the post.

I had the gas tanks in two Fiat Multiplas refurburshed at a local radiator shop, at rather consderable expense, something like $300+ apiece. Neither of these had holes in them, but they were full of really nasty scale. Results were very good. This was at Federal Way Radiator, 8116 Pacific Hwy E, on old 99 between Federal Way and Fife. (253)922-7200. They dipped the tanks into a big pool of cleaning solution, did a sonic treatment, lined the insides with a special plasticy product, and painted them. Worth a shot!

Thanks guys. I ended up just buying a new tank--the price was right.
