I have a bad feeling that all the current ones will be sitting permanantly because we will be out of gasoline.
I'm guessing it would be sold to some other people, hopefully some guy who would take good care of it. I would be owning new cars by then.
50 years? Hmmm... That'll make it a 77 year old car. Hell, I just hope it still runs, regardless of who owns it.
In my garage...and like Perfusion said "That'll make it a 77 year old car. Hell, I just hope it still runs."
Did you know that since the very beginning of mankind drilling for oil to this point in time, we have used up a whopping 12% of all KNOWN available oil. With 88% left, I am not overly concerned about running out of oil. Furthermore, it is still one of the least expensive forms of energy. And, there is enough oil in a 35 square mile area of Alaska and off of the California coast to last us for decades upon decades.
I hear you on that one... When oil is booming and prices are going up, from what I hear and have read about in the past, everyone starts babbling on about the Peak Oil Theory... As for where a Ferrari will be? Hopefully in MY garage.
very true, we wont run out of oil for a very very long time, not to mention the fact that even though it would be much more expensive, oil can be "created" from the rockies where the oil isnt in crude form yet, I dont remember the exact details, but they did a lot of experimenting with it in the 70's during the oil crisis.
