    I was at the mall a few weeks ago. I came out of one of the anchor stores into the mall area. To the left, the first little store was a nail salon. There was a big potted palm tree to the left of the door. Pot was about 3 feet in diameter, palm maybe 8 feet tall.

    Carefully parked partially behind the palm was a baby carriage. I thought: "dumb@sses, somebody's going to walk off with that".

    As I passed the store, I noticed there was a baby sleeping in it.

    If the parent is within eyeview--it is not a crime--I know it sucks and is a terrible thing, but not a crime in the scope of the law

    I suspect this was the case. The baby appeared Asian and there was a row of Vietnamese nail painters in the store.
