Hi Bruce, how are ya? I haven't 'seen' him around for a little while either. I remember reading in OT that he's got a baby on the way, so perhaps he's been too busy to log on at this time. Just a thought. RMV
No one's yelling. Bruce has a condition, so he writes with caps lock so he can better read the screen.
you newbie you I think I'll crack 2,000 tomorrow with the new script OWOWOWOWOWOWWOOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOOOW borrowed from Ants
Oh yes, the days of floormats, car wax, Jesus numberplate surrounds and the notorious 'Fast and the Furious' thread of 2002! Remember Magoo, Ed Gault, etc? Those were the days!
$0.20 if you do it now, or $0.40 if you do it when one of them is on 1999 posts. I'm not one of them but I'm guessing thats the best offer you'll get.
Ed Gault was the Ferrarifixer of the old Fchat went off and bought a Corvette or something, very helpful dude but a little funny from some people's accounts Have you been on Fchat since 2000 ??
better ban me, I really have some work to do tomorrow but this is fun for a change I'm flying into Melb next Monday late ,got to do some work Wednesday, hopefully the legal rubbish with the QV will be settled and I can pick the car up and drive back on Thursday next week is looking very busy as I've got people flying up from Melb to buy the BMer
Maybe I should ban me. Might get more work done too! Seems like an inordinate amount of red tape on that car. Why would anyone fly to the other end of the country to buy a BMW? There must be 10,000 examples that they could have bought down here?
I lurked in 2001. Joined early 2002. Left in 2003. Rediscovered F-Chat in 2004, and finally did the prodigal son thing when I discovered the Aussie section! I didn't mind Ed. He was the first person to welcome me when I first joined. He had a 308, but like you said, he bought a new Corvette, got flamed over it (I think, can't remember 100%), and left. A lot of people left around that time, including me. I left because there were some real dickheads on F-Chat back in the day(Richelson ring a bell?), but I've enjoyed the site a lot more with the structure it now has. In the old days, it felt like OT and P&R was everywhere at the time I left, and it was all about sniping and fighting, and not about learning about and appreciating Ferraris.
yeah, there were some real ******bags back then (still are some but we won't mention any names) Don't remember Richelson but had a good time with the Canadians as the yare very similar to us in a lot of ways (good sense of humour, roll with the punches type people) Technical section was where I lived trying to get the GT4 up to scratch
