It's the equivalent of over 100,000 animals. Pretty unlikely that much of it is remaining in inventory. The whole thing looks mostly like a swipe at the company and some pretty inhumane practices. I for one enjoy eating beef but I don't condone brutality from the "executioners".

The cattle in question were considered "downed", one of the four "D"s (diseased, dying, dead, downed) that technically disqualify them at inspection. Meat from these animals traditionally finds its way into pet food, which isn't as profitable.
LOL! Couldn't agree more. I can't tolerate TB, it tastes like watered down fecal matter - although I wouldn't know but I figure the revolting taste must be similar to something so defiled and unholy.
