anyone know?
the 430 spider was introduced a bit after. f430 debuted at paris in late september 2004, the spider came out in geneva in spring 2005. there were 2005 360's, f430's and f430 spiders, so probably something similar with the 458
Well you know how the rumour mill goes. I have heard all kinds of stories, but the one that makes the most sense to me is that they are going to wait for at least two years to give the California Spyder to sell in sufficient numbers. Who knows though. As far as I'm concerned the new Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible is going to take a few sales away from the California.

did they just take one of the ps pics from here at Fchat, along with the info and post it as news? hmm...weedy...
definately .. I had a good chat with Ferrari Spa CEO Amadero Felisa on Saturday & asked him about the Spider, to which he replied "Spring 2011". I also asked him about the next "super" Ferrari which he said not to expect before 2012, and unfortunately for us in this part of the world again available only in LHD. Funny thing when I asked him what was his favourite all time Ferrari, with a twinkle in his eye he responded "the next one" .. not specifically the next one, but perennially the next one.
Well what I learned at the Frankfurt Auto show (from a Dealer too!) was that when asked (at the Coupe introduction by the President of Ferrari) "when" would the Spider be available... the answer was "yes" In other words, other than being promised, no date was released or suggested.
