    haha, it is the Toyota MR2 model! A 84-89 MR2 with a not-so-bad 355 body kit...at least I don't think it looks too bad.

EDIT: On second look...yeah, that is pretty bad.

    You guys are all wrong.
The tell tale sign that this is one of the rarest (one off )gran turisimo, versions of the early 355 are the custom 12" wheels. Also notice the custom "city parking" wheelbase of only 82" and you know you are viewing a very rare car indeed. Shelton had this beauty listed for over 400k just last year!

Maybe it's a custom convertible with a reatractable hardtop... Or could it be an old MR2 trying to look like a newer old MR2??

One time I was fueling my 512tr and someone came up and asked me if it was a kit car. I had to bite my tongue then just say no. We (I at least) have to remember that everyone has their level of education and understanding regarding these cars. He displayed his. Then he started to talk about kits for fieros and such. Then I told him I thought they looked like crap. Hey I was being honest! As if ANY kit car has anything to do with an italian work of art. He at first had a funny look on his face then seemed to accept my statement.
I hope I was able to raise his aesthetic sensibilities at least a little.
    I have faith!

Thats my car you numptys, please dont be so snobby and explain this. How could you possibly tell it from a real 355? I mean, look at the smooth curves and those lovely wheels etc. Took me many years to save up the dosh for the professional transformation so if any of you are interested, please contact www.crapkits.com
