I'm in the market for a fun car (3rd vehicle mainly used on weekends...). I am considering the following:

    2003 Porsche TT X50
    2006 Porsche Cayman S
    2006 Porsche Carrera S
    2006 Maserati Gransport
    2007 Corvette Z06
    2006 Dodge Viper

The 2006 Porsche's are new cars that have been substantially reduced in price because they are leftovers and that's why I am not considering any 2007 Porsche's. I know that the 2008 Viper with 600HP is coming out this summer but the 2006's are also being reduced about 20K and can be bought for around $69,000. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I know these cars vary in performance (both speed and handling).... If you can think of others I should add to my list that would be appreciated

Saw what you already have. I personally would go with the Corvette or Cayman. You have a most enviable predicament!:)

I would get the corvette if the wife would drive it as well as you. You can't beat the porche carrera s.

Maserati is more of a GT; the Porsches are great daily driver sports cars...

As the use will be weekend only, something rough and nasty is what you need...

Vette or Viper would suit your needs, although I'd lean towards the Vette. If I were going to spend a lot of time in it then the carrera or TT x50........

    my 2 cents

I'd narrow it down to the 996tt and Z06, and ultimately get the Turbo-- because after you get used to the power of the car you can do some pretty unbelievable power packages. There are many more pros to.
