Just had a 500 mile blast in the Dino all was going well and then 25 miles from home the clutch cable snapped! Has anyone out there-any advice as to which is the best replacement and any tips I should know? Many thanks

I recently bought a blue cable that according to the German vendor was an "Improved design for greater durability" and made in Germany. Very very nice quality cable but the end fittings did not fit correctly, so quite extensive modifications were needed. I will go for the original type cable next time (Green cable that's slightly more expensive than the above mentioned blue cable, I believe Superformance has this in stock).

    Regards Peter

I haven't installed the clutch cable - just shimmed one at both ends to get it to stop dragging. My suspicion is that no, there is no road side fix for a broken cable - only a flat-bed truck...
