About to buy a 360 Spider, and looking at the great number of cars available, I like to raise a questions: what is your recommendation selecting colours ? What to prefer and what to better avoid ?
Reason for asking: if selecting one colour, it may be hard to sell later one day.
Of course, on can always argue: select what YOU prefer, don´t select something that may fit the next guy to come along...
Anyone having a listing of cars and colours manufactured (X numbers of red, yellow, silver etc etc)?

You can't go wrong with red! I'm in the market for a 360 coupe and I'm shopping for a Red on tan. I'm not a big fan of yellow but a red or yellow Ferrari is always a good choice. I've been shopping for quite some time now and I've seen more silver Ferrari's still on the market then any other color! But that's just my opinion.

Red, yellow. black in that order are most popular IIRC. Then you get into different shades of silver and blue.

Buy what you want. It goes without saying an unusual color coupled with a rare interior will be much harder to sell later.

You have already said the magic words. Get what you want and don't worry about it.

Get the colors you like and avoid the ones you don't. It isn't an investment so get what you like.

Bought red and don't regret it but made an offer on a TDF before I bought the red. Great color

My first choice was black when I first started looking, then black became second to Silverstone, and red, which at first i thought was just too stereotypical now seems fine with me, and now i look at Yellow with black interior, and I really like it! The thing with black is, it doesn't show off the lines of the F430 the way lighter colors do...

As was said earlier... it's your car and it's definitely not an investment, so buy the color that you want.

Having said this, my personal favorite is red on tan...

As long as you stay away from Green, you'll be fine.

Most people like Red, Black, and Yellow but Silver and White can also be desirable.

Red is by far the biggest seller for first time owners.

What you should do is not look at color for resale but look at color for yourself. After all, it's your money. You don't buy these everyday, do you?

More important to an easy resale is keeping good service records, having it taken care of regularly by a reputable shop, and of course accident damage (or lack of). You can never guess what people are looking for in color. If you try to, most likely you'll guess wrong.

I just bought a 360 Spider last week. Red/tan is a classic of course, and I was tempted, but because the 360 Spider is already a flashy car I wanted something a bit more discreet and therefore bought silver/black. A tad boring perhaps, but it certainly couldn't offend anybody, and I somehow find the look to be very attractive and timeless.

Each unto his/her own of course, and I really didn't see any really nasty combos out there -- they all have their merits. Thankfully I didn't see any green or beige cars!!! I wasn't tempted by black as I find it hides the beautiful lines of the 360, plus it's a real nuisance to keep it looking good IMHO.

Hey, what's wrong with Green?! Verde Mugello looks great on my 360, and I get compliments all the time from people on the street. Now as far as biege is concerned, I will agree that would be an ugly color on an F car.

Sorry Tim, didn't mean to insult you. Actually, yours looks like a bit of a petrolly kind of green, so I bet it is nice. Doesn't really matter though, because as I said, each unto his/her own, and that includes anybody with a beige one ... well, perhaps not beige!!!

No need to apologize. I wasn't insulted and I agree that to each to his own.

You ask the question because although every one knows that Red is the most logical color to resale easily, you may not want to stereotype yourself. Hence go with an open mind and buy it for yourself. If the car is well kept with low miles, reslae will always be there for any no stories well kept 360. mine was a Pozzi Blue and I sold it in a month.

Who cares about resale! Buy what you want and drive like you stole it!! Life's to short to worry about what will be left for the next guy.

    BTW, mine's Black and tan.

I like green, too, but it's likely harder to sell. FofNB has had a green Scuderia available for quite some time. Beautiful car in need of a buyer.

I'm surprised at how much I like that green. Looks good!

While not quite "beige", there is at least one local 456 in Grigio Ingrid, it is a good looking car. The 456 is the only car I've seen that looks good in Grigio Ingrid though.
