    I recall reading somewhere that either the big end bolts or main bearing bolts/studs should not be re-used.does any one know if this is correct.

    big end bolts are big big problem, new bolts are no longer aviable
    headstuds are no good, to soft material
    mainbearing cap studs and nuts need to be replaced, must be replaced with hight quality material ( roled treads)
    main caps are to loose in block
