Hi My name is Richard and I am from Melbourne, Australia. I am hoping to purcahse a Ferrari within the next few weeks and have not as yet decided on a Testarossa or 348ts which are within my budget or 355GTS which is currently just out of my budget. Does anyone here know which of the above 3 Ferrari's have the most amount of room for the driver? I am a very big....(ROUND) shaped person and would probably buy the Ferrari with the most room I could afford. regards, Richard SAT355
Sadly prices on ferrari's dont work like that in Oz. If the 355 is just out of his budget so would the 456.
i dont know how 'round' you are but Im 6'1" 230 lbs and I fit in my 355 just fine. Truthfully you really need to try and figure out a way to spend an hour in the drivers seat before buying anything. Its going to be less about how much interior space there is than how the seats are designed. The side bolsters could make it very uncomfortable for you.
Hmm.. Wow so many responses in so little time, what a fantastic forum. I am not really interested in the Mondial T's or late 400's/400i/412 their design does not capture me. The 456 is a car that I do like but is extremely over my budget here in Australia. To: Aircon....No I am not the politix guy? Who is he? I am approx 5'11 and 300lbs. regards, Richard SAT355
I think you would fit in a Mondial 8/QV/3.2 just fine. The whole car is an amazing use of space and the seats are fairly flat for those uf us where the sands of time have shifted. would agree you should drive all of the cars and see what the reality is. That is a big secret with Ferraris that many do not talk about - the reality of driving the cars is often different than what you may have pre-concieved.
wow, I would say you would do fine in a 360. May be out of your range, but I am built like a football player 6'4, 285 lbs and I had TONS of room in a 360 coupe! gordon
