Which Ferrari stays in a modern look the longest...!!! What I mean is eventhough time has passed this particular Ferrari, to the general public's eyes, still look as if it was launched just this year...

In my mind it would have to be the Daytona with Cromadora's. The car still looks very modern.

How about the 308GTB..... 30 years since it's launch, it still can fool most people that it was a current sports car. When I drive my carb 308GTB, many sports cars still want a race. It seems like they don't really accept that it's a 30 years old mechine. The way it looks still implied the way it drive,... fast. They still are proud that their new Evo or new Imprezza is faster than my 308... But in a way, I do agree with them that the 308GTB with every bit of its design still stands aginst many modern, current sports cars design. It has all the supercars and sports cars features looks. People can accept the Dino, Daytona, even the Countach as a classic mechine and leave them alone just fine but not the 308GTB... They still want that race with our 308...

I'll vote for the 355 as well. Color-matched plastic bumpers, no 1980's-style side strakes, and the proportions are modern (i.e., not extremely low and wedge shaped like the 308/328). The only feature that could date it slightly is the retractable headlights, which seem to have been left behind by all automakers.

The 308 looks older by virtue of those black rubber bumpers and its sharp wedge shape (yes it looks great, but it's obvious it's not a new design). The 328 can almost pass for modern because of its color-keyed bumpers, but one look inside and the Momo wheel sans airbag, and orange gauges lifted from the 288GTO, date the car.

348/TR are pure 1980's, even if the 348 came a tad later. Sharp cars, but no one's going to think they're new.

The 456 doesn't look old, but it's also a more conservative design than the others mentioned here.

I'm waiting for the day when Rob places the 355 in the classic forum. I think I'll feel sad for my 355 when it happens. It's going to have to happen eventually.

I agree the 355 is pretty timeless, but the cars that really stop the clock are the ones that were designed at the very begining. Cars like the 166MM Touring Barchetta, 340 America 0082, 212 Vignale coupes, 206S, P4, the mind swims. Too many cars. GJ

I agree with F355. It's also been in recent movies - none come to mind but I remember my friends talking about it once, which could also make people think it's a modern car. Heck maybe even the movie producers thought it was :D

There is no doubt that the 308/328 Ferraris fall into this category. The lines on these cars are still fresh even after 30 years when the car was introduced 1975….

I would say either the F355 or the 308/328.

Currently the 360 is the only 'old' Ferrari that I'd call modern looking. The rest are all very clearly from their time periods. Indeed Ferraris are fashion items, they either follow or, in some people's minds, set the trend of their time period. The 308/328 are definitely 80s looking and could never be confused with a modern car. The 348 could not be confused with a modern car either with those nice cheese grater sides. The 355 well, its the most boring looking Ferrari that Ferrari has ever made and it has pop-up lights, something that simply does not exist on modern cars.

The even older Ferraris would never be confused with being a modern car. Doesn't mean their design won't always be beautiful, but they are most definitely not modern looking.

disclaimer, just because a car doesn't look modern does not mean that it doesn't look good. I like the look of all the Ferraris listed above, except the 355, but they are not modern.

I think the 308 GT4 has come of age. It looks fairly contemporary in my eyes unlike the GTB/S, Cruel irony is a fickle mistress.

The 355's hideaway headlights doom it to an era; no one uses them any more. I'll say the 360; but I do agree the whole rest of the 355 is still very modern looking.

308/328 one of the most beautiful cars Ferrari made and the most beautiful 8 cylinder car. This car will never go out of style and it is still reconized by everyone.

Was a mistake??? Never heard it called that before. Though I am an strong 348 supporter I don't mind saying the 512TR is my favorite all time Ferrari and arguably the best iteration of the Testarossa / 512 TR / 512 M lineup.
