    Have both 328GTS and 512TR.

    Completely different cars and I love them both but in the final analysis, I'm partial to the TR for its sheer physical prowess and intimidating look.

    I cant imagine spending 17k to repair a tranny.....its insane!

    FOR ME, I will take 512M (Testa Rossa) after driving 328 for about 9 months now. Yes, Testa Rossa & 512M/TR are different, but they all are 12 cylinders.

    Testa Rossa got a look of wild, sexy, beast-like look, but drivers of this car are usually friendly, intelligent, wise people.

    328 looks just breath-taking for me as it was my first love of Ferrari. Damn, if I could only keep 2 Ferraris......

    Rammer,
    So in short, take 328 if you want to wet your feet on F, or take TR if you just want to dive into F. (referring to the difference of maintenace cost & purpose for getting these cars others already indicated)

    328, 348, TR any one you get, you will enjoy them. (although I have only ride in TR, not driven it)

    First of all I'm not trying to be smart. I'm not fire resistant. Is a Fs trans. that much harder to rebuild than any other car? I wouldn't expect it to be cheap, but 17? WOW! I would guess the price of the parts really add up.
