Which Ferraris have you been in?

    I know this has been done before, but lets update it and try to add some photos if we can. So what Ferraris have Fchatters been in, either as driver or passenger or even just sat inside!!??

    I have been in 8 Ferraris overall, but never driven one or sat in the drivers seat, but then again I am only just 21 :D

    Here is a quick run through of my Ferrari experiences:

    * The first Ferrari I ever went in was my dream car, a Rosso Corsa, crema interior, black hood, '95 355 Spider Manual. It sounded and looked absolutely perfect. We only had a short drive on some country roads, but it was an experience never to be forgotten.

    * '98 Ferrari 456 GT Manual came next. A great grand tourer and we even hit 170mph on the speedo late at night on a motorway ;)

    * On the same day I was lucky enough to have a very short blast in an '04 360 Challenge Stradale. I was only in there for a matter of 2 miles, but the acceleration was breathtaking and like nothing I have ever experienced before or since. Spectacular :D

    * Next stop was Hong Kong and a great fun drive out in a '92 348 TS. We headed to a supercar meet and blatted back through the New Territories with 5 other Fcars including my first close up look at an F50 in motion :D

    * Back in the UK it was time for another '95 355 Spider. The same spec as the first ever Fcar I'd been in. We had a great day driving round the countryside with a group of 25 Fcars. Some stunning sights including a trip round a Ferrari independent dealership and workshop packed with F40s, classics and even a Schumacher F1 car. Great car, stunning Fcar day.

    * A few months later it was yet another Rosso Corsa 355 Spider. This time a '96 and we were pulled over by the police within a few minutes of setting off. The reason was apparently driving without insurance, but it was simply a mistake on their computer. It was quite embarassing sitting there in the passenger seat with everyone staring!!

    * Recently I went out in an '02 360 Spider. It was of course red and it also had a Tubi. The sound and power were immense and jumping out of the car in front of a crowd outside a bar was great fun.

    * Last but my no means least was a true beast of a Ferrari. The car started life as a standard 360, but is now a '00 360 Turbo with around 500bhp and a stage 2 Tubi that sounds like nothing this side of an F1 car! The acceleration was blistering, on a par with the Challenge Stradale. This was also only the second non-Rosso Corsa Fcar I've been in...

    So there you have it, a great start to Fcar passengering and a dream come true every time I jump into the car. There is nothing quite like a Ferrari ride except of course getting to drive which I am sure I will manage one day soon.

    I don't see many ferraris here in idaho and the one car show I attended two years ago that had any I didn't have time to sit in any. I went through Salt lake planning to stop at steve harris but didn't get to do that either. Finally while on vacation in california I stopped by a dealer in la jolla and sat in the following: 360 spider and a superamerica both brand new.

    Hopefully I will be getting a ride soon in a 308/28 and maybe a 430 ride soon also.

    I've only sat in 1. The Black 599 that was at pebble beach last time. Next step is to get a ride in one then hopefully drive one after that. haha.
