I cant decide what game I should buy a steering wheel for. I think both games rock and have great physics. Although I think Forza is better in that department with the addition of crash damage. Also Forza has FERRARIS! AND the Dino 246GT.
But aside from the Ferraris and Porsches, GT4 has more cars it seems.

And GT4 is more realistic, or thats what I hear because I havnt heard much about Forza's claim to realisim- even though it feels pretty real.

So what do you guys think I will enjoy driving with a wheel more? GT4 or Forza?

That's really an easy one to answer since Microsoft doesn't own the rights to Force Feedback. Their wheel makes up some limited force feedback, but it gives you nowhere near as much car feedback as the GT4 wheel. I know because I got both consoles, games and wheels.

Aside from that the GT4 wheel does a unique trick with its 900+ degree turns and has an additional sequential shifter to the side for when you want to simulate NASCAR or CART.

Really, the steering wheel question is a simple one to answer. The real question between GT4 and Forza is whether damage modelling, online play and Ferraris in the game are more important than a realistic feedback. That one I can't answer for you.

PS: The GT4 wheel is so damned good, it lets you feel weight transfer going through the car as it moves through the turn. Don't ask me how they do it, but I swear you feel it.

Hmm it looks like it is the GT4 wheel I should buy. Just to be sure, the wheel you are talking about is "GT Driving Force Pro Force Feedback Racing Wheel" by logitech, correct?

    yup

And as FChatter Ricard has pointed out (and as I have tested thereafter): It works instantly with a PC as well.

That's the thing; Microsoft DEVELOPED USB ports, but they DON'T put them on their XBox?!?!? GT4 offers the best, most responsive steering experience outside of driving a real car. It's a trade off from being able to drive Ferraris, but eventually the stars will align and we will get to do both.
I also have both systems and wheels for both, the two don't compare, go with GT4 and get a wheel. Plug it in to your pc as well!

    - F1 Challenge
    - Grand Prix 4
    - P4 add-on to NASCAR 2003
    - GTR
    - Grand Prix Legends
