BBR will be doing a 308 version very shortly in 1/18 according to their website.

Not to derail the thread but I think a well done 1/18 (or 1/43) 328 would be well received. Hopefully one will be forthcoming. I’m all for a nice 308 as well.

Many too many 308's and 328's have been produced in 1:43scale over the years. As noted by others, there already have been a couple of very good 308's in 1:18 scale.... and 328's as well.

I would love to find a very nice 1/18 or 1/43 328 GTS.
Which would you recommend? I have the Kyosho 1/18 but I think there could be a better one..

I too have been looking for a 1/18 308. In the meantime I just got a 1/18 BBR 208 GTS. (black) It's very nice and realistic, I tend to think just a skosh better than the Kyosho 308. I also have the 1/18 BBR 288. (red) BBR did a good job on this model. Looksmart's 288 looked a bit off, and the Hot Wheels 288 is down right terrible looking. At any rate, I may end up adding a Kyosho 308 in the future. You'd think all of the model makers could get these cars looking right! :D cheers, DJ

I too have the BBR 288 GTO, a really stunning model, the only limitation is that being resin it's fully sealed, no opening parts.

On the Kyosho 308s the 'face' ist just not realistic. I didn't like mine from the beginning and sold it eventually. The best so far are the reasonably prized Ottomobile Michelotto Gr.4 cars.
Owning the real thing I couldn't get happy with the Kyosho thing. I permanently thought, the Kyosho resembles a Fiero replica more.

These are not very detailed and there are only the Gr.4 versions but the body is just perfect:

I missed out on the Otto however it did look nice. I did purchase the BBR 288 GTO. I would really like to see a 328 GTS built to the standard of the BBR. Hopefully either BBR, MR or Amalgam will eventually make one. While I am espousing the wish list I also wish MakeUp Eidolon would get their Ferrari license back and continue their 1/43 line of Ferrari’s.

Considering how many 328's were sold there are not many models out there, especially in 1/18.

The Hasagawa 1/24th plastic kit seems to have the best proportions to my eye. The fairly crude Revell 1/25th Magnum kit is also pretty good, but not much detail. I have pretty much every plastic kit in those scales and the Hasagawa 328 is the best, but it's not a 308!
