    Hi folks, I would like to get a model of my 512tr and wanted to ask you which company has the most accurate version of 512tr, and where could I get one. I know I've seen some companies mentioned here but I would like to ask those of you who has one.

    Isn't it supposed to be the other way around...get the model first and then the real thing. ;) Your 512tr is one of the nicest and cleanest I've seen!

    Sometimes the exact model is more difficult to find than a car. I am still serching for a cream MGA model or a yellow Lotus Esprit S4 model. I know someone made them, but who and where???

    Beautiful TR...the only model closest your car is the one made by Mira. But in my opinion, the quality is sub-par.

    I guess scale should count for something. If you want the most accurate version of the 512tr, nothing matches Tamiya build quality. However, they only come in 1/24 scale (actually, I'm not even certain if they did a 512, but definitely a Testarossa) Monogram made large 1/12 scale models, but again the build quality will probably be an issue here. However, it would definitely cost less than the model you're looking at and they are not curbside (no interior, engine detail). They even have functioning bonnets.

    It took me 6months to find my 512tr. I guess search will continue on for the model too. thanks for all your inputs.
