I was talking to a friend of mine in Florida the other day, he and a friend of his were thinking of taking their cars, splitting them down the middle and reatatch the end to the other. My friend has an F-40 and his buddy has a
F-50. My friend is wanting the F-50 backend on his F-40 and the other guy wants the rear of the F-40 on his F-50. I told my buddy that would be a wicked car in either respect but I wouldnt do it. I wouldnt take apart anything that didnt have something wrong with it ecspecially when your working with 2 of the best Ferrari's constructed.
Any way Speaking of the supers which is the Super, SUPER in your opinion
    choices
    288 GTO
    F-40
    F-50
    ENZO
by the way I told my friend he was crazy, but to keep me posted, so as I get told whats happening, I will keep everyone posted.

I really can't decide between any of them, but then again I don't even know why the F50 is on that list. I hate it.

The super of these supers... If we are talking about technology, of course, if it isn't the Enzo, then Ferrari did something wrong. It's the latest of the super of the super, isn't it. If we are talking style, then that's a matter of taste...( still the Enzo for me )

hmm.....haven't we done this discussion already?

but...same answer as before, I'd take the F50, purely on the fact that it is the most stunning car aesthetically out of the four.

Wouldn't this somehow destroy the mehcnaics of the car: Chassis structure, rigidness, aerodynamics, etc. The F50's engine is part of the main frame, would this not make for a difficult transfusion, or all the more easier?? The F50's length width is 78.1 in.--while the F40's measures 78.3(not much I know, but still a major difference in putting two cars together). Another difference is the wheelbase, the F50 outdoes the F40 by a long 6.1 inches. Also, the F50 is a six speed, while the F40 is a 5 speed. Do your friends plan on switching engines also??? The transfusion seems virtually impossible, but I suppose anything can be done. However, I am not an expert on the subject so everyone feel free to correct anything I have said. Also, I have read over your post and I might not be understanding entirely what you are proposing, you may not mean the whole rear end of the car, but just the cosmetic tail. Besides all of that, I totally agree on what you said. Both cars are perfect the way they are, and should be left alone. Although, it would be rather interesting to see the final product.

Below are two pictures of F50's in half.

    I'd have to say

    F40
then it would be a tough choice between 288 & F50.

you can keep the enzo, yes it is technologically the best, but it looks like @$$, and i think there are far better & more significant cars to have if you could afford an enzo.

    but thats just me.

I'd say the F50, then Enzo, then F40. But they are all super as you say.

288 GTO - Super fast and stealthy
F40 - Pure adrenaline, built like classic Ferraris
F50 - Exotic design, parts, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Really is built like an F1 car.
ENZO - Just f'n crazy, technology makes you Shumacher.

If I had my choice it would be the 288 GTO, very sexy, very fast, more day to day user friendly.
