    I believe there is another thread like this somewhere... :)

    My fav: F40

    Set new standards for the supercar world;
    Stunning design;
    Last car to be introduced by Enzo;
    F40s have racing history;

    hard choice... i love all three- F40, F50, and ENZO.. i dont know that much info about the 288 GTO... only that it was Ferrari first supercar. if someone can tell me more about the 288 GTO that would be helpful.

    oh my favorite will prolly be the F40.. that twin turbo V-8 and the engine is crazy looking.

    F430-Monza,
    Are you looking to buy of one these Ferrari supercars?

    I love them all equally but if I had to pick one , I think it would the F40. Why the F40? For the same reasons that Ramon wrote.

    While the F40 is close behind, my all time favorite is the 288.

    F50. Best looking Ferrari, in my opinion. Anyone have any high-resolution pictures of the interior? I've never seen the carbon fiber tub/dash dials in detail.

    Negotiating for an Enzo as of this point of time , but can't help looking for one of the earlier models if the condition and price is right.

    The Enzo isn`t a bad choice. :D But I understand, its always good to look elsewhere and maybe you can find a 288, F40 or F50 in great condition for a great price.

    Good luck with your search.

    You know it would be great to own mint specimens of 288 GTO, F40, F50 and an Enzo....each is special in it's own way.

    F430, I agree that would be nice, but def go for the F40, F50 and Enzo first. the GTO is really the precursor to the F40, same engine, just less power. Personally, my favorite is the Enzo, and strangely not bc its the newest, but bc its useable it would seem. the interior is miles ahead of the others, yet still it is "racy" and after that, the F50, bc it really is gorgeous imho, and has a real F1 derived motor in it.

    In my eyes, it is drop-dead gorgeous. It's fast, it's a 6 speed...
    I love that car.

    288GTO and F40 come both could be my number one. The Enzo can pass those any days. Poor Batmobile F50 is last (if only, not that rear spoiler).

    My favorite would be the F40, then the Enzo, followed by the GTO… The F50 is not even on the list for me, I think its one of the worst looking Ferraris ever.

    It's pure Ferrari

    Half Race car half street car, wicked performance from V8 Ferrari. The pictures do not do it justice, to see one is beyond words.

    (I'm almost tied with the Enzo as well)

    In order...

    1. F40 - no doubt, a sensation when released, instant rapport with fans, press, I never can see a bad angle and the performance is stellar. I remember even people like Alain Prost was blown away. Cars like this come once in a lifetime/

    2. 288GTO - the precursor and probably ultimate development of the 308 family.

    3. F50 - I took a disliking to it because it was so against the framework that the F40 developed but in time I also find it to be a stunning design... I love it now.

    4. Enzo - I fear I may never come to like Ken Okuyama's design.

    I would say that the 288 GTO is my favorite!
    one reason for that decision.
    I love the lines of the car and feel that many people would consider it a sleeper! Looks of a mean 308!

    then would be either the f40 or Enzo. From pictures I like the Enzo, but I feel that I will never expierence the joy of riding or driving in one. However the F40 is tight for my frame but fits my style perfectly! The power and sounds that come from that car, are unbelievable!

    Last is the F50 Too Round and happy looking!! and what is with the wing?

    I understand what you mean - it has that big happy mouth and two bright eyes. I'm also not a fan of that big sweeping wing - looks very much like a bright red happy batmobile.

    Be that as it may, I can't help liking it and it's taken years for me to get used to the way it looks.

    Love the F50!

    I rank them in the same order as you listed them:

    288GTO > F40 > F50 > Enzo

    The 288 GTO is the best because:

    + Purest shape. Sexiest too (my opinion of course)
    + The most roadworthy of the lot - not too wide and decent ride
    + Least expensive for such a rare car
    - Not that much quicker than today's high end sports cars but so what?
    - fouls its plugs in traffic (read about this somewhere?)

    The F40
    + The first car poster I ever bought .. Car Looks fabulous
    + A driver's car ... A man's man's car
    + Racebred technology for the road
    + Purity of purpose - no radio and other frippery
    - Engine is a slug unless it is wound out
    - A driver's car ... A man's man's car --> especially if you are not on your game

    The F50
    + F1 engine from A Prost's car. Naturally aspirated
    + Racebred technology for the road
    + Purity of purpose - no radio and other frippery
    + Easier to drive than the F40
    - Wasnt that much quicker than the F40
    - Looked a little odd to me in the beginning but now I love it

    The Enzo
    + Naturally aspirated - awesome power
    + Capable of being driven by an ordinary driver
    + Better ride than the F50
    + Schumacher tuned
    - Ugly compared to the others
    - capable of being driven by an ordinary driver

    Note: The magazine Evo tested the same four cars a couple months back and came up with the order (going from memory)

    1. F50
    2. 288 GTO
    3. F40
    4. Enzo

    They liked the F50 for its purity of character. The GTO was deemed a little slow in that pack but liked otherwise. The F40 was in their opinion a disappointment as it promised more but delivered less. I forget why they dissed the Enzo...

    Personally for the going price of an Enzo ($1 MM) I could buy the following:
    - 1998 F355 Spider - Nero (~$90K)
    - 2000 F550 M - Grigio Titanium (~$120K)
    - 1984 GTO - Red of course (~$340K)
    - 1968 275 GTB/4 - Red (~350K)
    and keep the rest of money for servicing these beauts :)
