It's time to clean and condition the leather in the TR and love the smell of Connolly leather in the morning. It's part of the total Ferrari Experience in my opinion.
I was wondering which conditioner smells the most like Connelly Leather? Leatherique or Hide Food or another brand??? Thanks guys.

I am not sure about which conditioner smells best, but I love the smell of Griot's leather wipes.

Was there something back in the day that Ferrari used/recommended? Is there a way to regain that authentic '80s smell? Mine has smelled two different ways, one from the dealer and one from my detail guy.

Kind of not even joking here, because smell is such an important sense in invoking memories and emotion, so it should be as much of an important aspect of a car like the Testarossa which has everything to do about passion and not much to do with practicality.

Oh, on a side note, are there any suggestions on something that actually works...

These are the addresses of two leather care companies in the UK.

LTT can supply a leather smell kit, they sent me one for free to try out.
Add a few drops of the fluid to a small cotton wool pad and place under you seat........nice leather smell.

I have used the gliptone leather conditioner for some time now. It enhances the smell of leather.

I believer there is a gliptone.com over there in the US.

Try this..It's a very old dealership trick..Stuff a piece of fresh leather/hide under each front seat..it truly is the gift that keeps on giving, and(it really works). Jacques
