355 Which Michelins?

Pilot Sport 4S are high performance tires and are awesome. I had them on my F355 and F-Type R. The Pilot Sport PS2 are sport tires, not as good performance. I had them on my Toyota FR-S. Did well on back roads, but not even close to Pilot Sport 4S performance. The PS4S has a more advanced tire compound than the PS2.

 

I put PS4S on my GTS and I don't think they suit the car that well. The sidewalls are very soft, which may be great for modern cars with 20+" wheels and no sidewall, but on these older cars with more sidewall it leads to poor steering feel and mushy turnin. If I were buying now I'd get the Continentals with their stiffer sidewall, or something similar.

On my Porsche with it's 20s, the PS4s are great. On my 355 I don't think they suit it. Just my opinion. The grip would be phenomenal on either one.

 

ps4s, really like them. good from
cold, nice and progressive feel on breakaway.
will need tyres next year so will be digging out reviews of the ps5.

i do odd track days and a few long (2-3k) tours each year.

 

PS4S is a terrific tire. I'm going Cup 2 Connect just to give them a try, but you will not be disappointed with PS4S.

PS4S is the way to go. I use them as rain tires on my F355 Challenge and when temperatures are too cold for slicks...
