Go for a Kyosho 328 & HW 612. If you look on eBay, you can grab a used Burago F40 for about $15 shipped.

How about a Kyosho 308 QV, since that is what you want in your profile? Even though I have a 328, I love the 308 model more than the 328 model.

hey mule, where have you been hidein ?

I'm kinda wanting to wait on the 308/328 model becuase, when my REAL car gets here (soon I hope) my wife is gonna get me a custom to match from cavallino models ;) plus I wish they had tan interior :( mule, the company I'm ordering through (IDOW) doesn't have the kyosho 308, I have a store credit there so I have to order from them.
But, I still like it and I have NO patience that's why I put it in the list.

Is HW doing a red f50 this fall ?

Not hiding, just don't visit all that often. I have two Bburago F50s (red one and a blue one) that are nice, but don't know if it is on HW's list. Maybe Ebay (of course).

Again, do you want quantity or quality? Stay away from the HW new releases for a few months and the prices will drop a lot. Grab a HW F40 if you can or a HW 288 GTO. The F40's were $10 at Big Lots, so don't pay too much. The GTO is hard to find. Since you have some modern cars, a classic (62 GTO, 250LM, or Daytona) would be a nice mix.

Cavallino models are awesome and a great way to immortilize your real car. I made one of mine with an Anson 328 GTS and F40 wheels.

John, i just saw this thread...

i would go with the 328...! No question about it...! What you get the money left over is almost totally irrelevant, although acquiring a model to help round out your collection isn't a bad idea...

Ok, so get the 328, definitely... Absolutely, no question about it, you HAVE to get the 328...

...you're gonna get it, right...? :)

Ok, so with the money left over, get something from a period you don't have many cars from...? The only vintage cars i have in my collection that's here in Georgia are a 166 and a 250 Lusso... The Daytona, of course, doesn't count and neither do the 1:43s... Of course, if you have a good amount of vintage cars or just don't want any, go for one of the modern models... Maybe you have too many modern models and not enough models of the cars from the 80's and 90's... i would highly advise going with something that will round out your collection the way you want it rounded out...

Let us know what you decide and don't dare come back in here without pictures... :D
