Hmmmm... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-Ferrari-348-TS-/120650478936?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1c17543558 OR http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-Ferrari-348TB-Coupe-54K-Rare-Color-Combination-/310271251354?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item483d9b939a One seems to be much cheaper...and has the Targa.
Why would you want to buy a magnificent car like a 348 from someone who doesn't even know how to place the wheels on a 348?
One is Schmitt selling it, the other is probably the owner. Maybe. That would be my guess. Since Schmitt has been trying to sell it for 13 years now, maybe the owner decided to take it back and sell it himself this is the power steering equipped 348
You bet your ass its the exact same car in both listings... but one says its an '89, the other says its a '91. Its definitely an '89 because it doesn't have the stupid mouse belts. I'm going to assume the 1st link is a total scam, and the Schmitt listing is legit.
my wheels were put on like that by a dropkick ferrari mechanic. im too worried to change them back so they wont get scratched
Isobel, the one in Pembroke Pines Fl, is only a few minutes from me, I can go look at it if you want.
Thank you Dominick but yellow isn't my colour. Difficult to believe anyone would post the first ad in ebay describing the joy of open roof driving when the car is a TB (along with 'Schmitt' displayed in the photos, identical to those in the Schmitt ad a few cars down). Just wow.
Thanks Dom. Looks as though the car is real, but why did he/she think it advisable to post someone else's photos without mentioning the intent ? Credibility lost.
I emailed him and he said some kid copied some one else's and posted the pictures for him and then he changed them. yeah right
". . . The 90° light alloy V8 had 10.4:1 compression and 48 valves . . ." I wish my 348 came with 48 valves. (LoL)
