I posted this on the 206/246 forum and didn't get any responses, so I'm trying here.

For those of you who use Red Line, which one do you use?

I had been using Mobil 1 15-50 red top in my 246GT, but the new formulation is crummy according to bobistheoilguy.com, so I think I'll switch to Red Line.

Here's what Red Line has to say about their 15-50:

"Not recommended for street use in production engines that see sustained oil temperatures below 225°F (those engines should use Red Line 10W-30 or 10W-40)."

    Do people use 10-40?

I believe that 10W-40 is a dino oil isn't it. That is what I plan on using in all my cars.

According to its website Red Line only sells synthetic oils, so it is synthetic.
Are you saying you only use dino oils? Why?
