They look like 288 GTO wheels but with a slight difference. 17 inch rears & 16 inch fronts. I like them, who's the manufacturer? Perhaps the owner is on the forums. Sighted Ju.16, 2008 Italian car show in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Had BC collector plates & I believe it was a 1986 Cdn market edition.

Double high mirrors is not factory, correct?

Those dont look like single lug. I think that is a center cap. They look like the old HRE wheels. I like them.. alot.

It's a single lug car. I was there that day and talked to the owner about exhaust systems. Nice guy.
    Note the high mirrors.

Open a new post and scroll down until you see "Manage Attachments".
Click that and a new window will open with "Browse" buttons on it.
Click one of those and it will take you to another window where you will have a choice of files to access.
Mine happen to be "My Documents" and My Pictures"
Click what you want then click "Upload" in the Browse" window.
It helps to resize the pictures down to 800 x 800 max.

Hotshu - correct. Double high mirrors was not factory (as I understand). Some in the U.S. and Canadian market added the passenger mirror to aid in eliminating the blind spot, and installed a 2nd mirror symmetric with the driver side height.

Of course, one would have to ask where did they find the right mirror to install? It is not simply a case of modifying a left-hand mirror and mounting it on the right. They are two distinctly different shapes. Hence, the factory must have manufactured it, perhaps in anticipation of bilateral mirrors (lower in height) to be standard equipment the following year.

From what I have read the right hand mirror mounted high is not usable to the driver and was put there for the external symmetry. I wish I would have asked the owner when I was talking to him. I always wondered if it was true.

Personally, I really like the single high mirror.

these wheels were advertised in the early issues of forza, and i am sure elsewhere. they were made by speedline. they weren't cheap, but they look good and address the tire/wheel changes since original introduction of the tr

Were the early TR's sold in RHD countries (England, Japan, Oz, etc)?

AjayM - why didn't I think of that? You are correct. Right hand mirror on 1985-86 must have come from British/Japanese/Austrailian market production cars.

It is true. I've sat in an early Tr with 2 mirrors and, yes, the passenger side mirror is useless as the A-pillar obstructs the view from the drivers side. IMHO, adding a RHD mirror kills the look of the car. To each their own.
