I was on this website and they have 2 types. One is labeled “loud”.

I do not know which I would need.

So are you saying you have the loud version? If so do you have any sound clips?

I'm not sure which version or model number...but, I don't think it can sound bad in any iteration. I'd probably go for loud...

I have some clips of me driving in the for sale thread. Not exhaust itself, but you can get an idea of the sound.

The guy at the shop that sells them said that about 80% percent of his customers buy the standard version and not the loud one. I would hate to spend all that money and find out it’s too loud for normal street use.

Thanks for doing that for me. That’s a different number than the ones on the website.

No problem...I wasn't sure if that was the serial number of the unit itself or the part number, but hopefully with that information, the supplier can guide you.

I put a Tubi on my Mondial t in April. The good folks at Universal (Glen Cove, NY) did the work. Prior to I asked about the difference between the Tubi options and was told as follows (cut and pasted from the text):
    "Tubi has 2 versions.
1)Silencer Mondial T Kat standard upgrade
    Or
2)Silencer Mondial T Kat Loud upgrade (10% louder from standard)"
After discussions with Universal and a lot of reading I decided to go with the "Loud". I'm conservative by nature (the only thing I don't love about Ferrari is the attention) so I was reluctant to go with loud, but on the other hand I wanted my Mondial to growl and roar... appropriately .
Long story short, the car sounds incredible now. It's sounds like...., a Ferrari. I wouldn't change a thing. My recommendation is that you go with Silencer Mondial T Kat Loud upgrade- fix the only thing lacking on your Mondial. Good luck... and report back please!

Did you drop the cats for test pipes with the "loud", or do you still have cats. My tubi is going on now at NJB along with test pipes instead of cats. I was afraid test pipes + loud would be too much. Thanks,

    Geno

I have hyperflow cats and a tubi.

NJB did my last major, so ask Jack. He probably remembers my set up.

Where did you purchase your Tubi from? They look to be cheaper if purchased out of the UK but not sure what the shipping would be.

I was advised by Joe and Luigi at Universal that test pipes were not advisable on the Mondial t... as that set up is prone to cause sensor problems. I am happy with the sound and the feel. For what its worth, I added a Tubi and test pipes to my 89 328 at the same time (same mechanics) as the Tubi was installed on the Mondial. The sensor issues (apparently) being inapplicable to the 328. So far so good with both cars.
