Out of the Ferrari 288 GTO, the Ferrari F40, the Ferrari F50, and the Ferrari Enzo; Which would you pick? This is the hardest question I have ever faced, I cant really decide. The 288 GTO and the F50 mould probably be my favorite..............BUT YOU CANT LEAVE OUT THE F40 AND ENZO. It is sooo hard to choose. Which would i choose? all of them.

If I had the money to afford them all, then I'd have the lot!!

I don't, so I have an F40. The cheaper of the bunch, but probably the best driver's car.

My choice would be as follows:

    1. Enzo
    2. F40
    3. GTO
    4. F50

It is close between the Enzo and the F40. I like the rawness of the F40 but the total package of the Enzo ultimately prevails.

First would have been the F50 until i saw the Enzo being driven on Top Gear in the UK. What an awesome machine, the way its feels like an f1 car in the cockpit......
Second would be the F50 purely because it is slightly more refined inside although harsh ride and the top comes away, the buzz of driving that machine topless................wow!!!
Thirdly the F40 because I'm a major fan of supercars, more modern than classic therefore it tops the 288GTO.
The 288 GTO is what i would say the car that oozes ferrari. If ever a car was to be recognised as a ferrari, it would be the 288.

This is the original and best, without it there would have been no F40,F50 and Enzo ;)

F40 = Turbos are my pet peeve. 2nd choice tho. Truly awesome car

enzo = not manual + kinda wierd styling. Not my sorta thing. IMO the F50 looks better

GTO = Turbos are my pet peeve. Doesn't really stand out imo

F50: A motor, a driver, a steering wheel, and four wheels. That's all you need in a car, and that's exactly what the F50 has. It in unquestionably the best Ferrari ever.

True V12 and the sound, the top comes off. The completeness of the car and oh did I say the sound. I don't like the Enzo's syling quite yet...but I am sure it will grow on me. The F40 is very raw and would definitely be my 2nd choice....but don't like the turbos. Same with the 288GTO...the turbos....but the looks of the GTO are trully recognizable as Ferrari....plus I heard that it doesn't take the twisties like the others.....anybody have a comparison on this one. I remember an article in Classic Car(?) a couple of months ago comparing the 4...and I think the F50 won but can't remember.

Some days I like the F50 more than the Enzo. Other days it's vice versa. Depends on my mood, but it's always either the F50 and Enzo on top, with the F40 third, then 288GTO on bottom.

Anyone have good engine compartment pics of the GTO? I think that would be interesting.
    Thanks

I have finally decided, if I must.
    1. 288 GTO
    2. F50

    4. F40
I still dont know if that is right. It is just to hard to decide. When I was a kid, I didn't like the 288 GTO that much, but it grew on me so fast; especially after seeing one in person. Without that car the rest would have never existed. The F50 was my first love, and that still might take 1st. Some peole argue the looks, but I think it is absolutely gorgeousThe styling of the enzo has definitley grown on me since the days the official pics form Ferrari were released. It looks different in script, than it does in person. The F40 is awesome, but does not compare to the opthers in the long run. (
in my opinion). I should ask a guy a met, Dan Heard, he owns every single one of the cars!!!! OKOKOKOKOKOK, I have revised my list....again.

Well, that question has been asked a few times... including several polls... looking at it from different perspectives:

    Poll: What's the best investment?
Poll: Which is the best looking?
    Poll: Which is your favorite?
    Which is your favorite?

I suggest reading those to get people's opinions, and then ask questions in those threads... bringing those polls back to the top for those who haven't seen them before to vote. Or if you have no question, you can just post "bump" to bring them to the top...

That's HIGHLY preferable to starting another thread on the same topic.

P.S. The Search button in the upper right... and then just search on "Poll" will give you a list of some of the more interesting surveys asked and answered in each forum. Just FYI.
