Judging by the race no.6 and the livery still with vodafone sponsorship, this should be the Ferrari 248 F1 (Year 2006) driven by F.Massa. There's also the yellow helmet!

the position of the rear view mirrors is wrong for it to be the 248F1. So it could be the F2005, more specifically that of Barrichello, since Schumacher had in 2005 the new, wider position of the mirrors from Canada on. The color of the helmet doesn't mean anything. It only resembles that of Massa most, but certainly is in no way a decent representation of his helmet. Massa's helmet is blue/flurescent yellow.

but then again, for a 2005 car, the startingnumber wouldn't be correct. So probably it actually is a 248F1 but with some mistakes in detailing.

Agreed, probably the 248f1 with mistakes. The front wing doesn't look correct either. I don't remember what the wing looked like at the beginning of the season, but it's not the one Ferrari was running for the second half.

maybe the fact that it is incorrect explains the lack of model number and year on the box.

Regardless, it handles great on the slot car track :)

For a toy, it's OK. Unfortunately, when it comes to scale/collector models, it's a sad thing for Ferrari. Personally, it's really sad to see what have been made available through the ($$$$$$$) exclusive licensing deal between Ferrari and Mattel/Hotwheels.

The licensing department at Ferrari could've done a better job. :(
