When doing your Christmas cards this year, think about taking one card and sending it to this address. If everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:

    A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
    Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

    Just a thought... I know I will.

I was one of those recovering soldiers (not at Walter Wonderful, though).

If you must know, I took a lazer pointer to a knife fight.

    Seriously,

The cards and short or long letters are very, VERY MUCH appreciated.

    Thanx in Advance Guys/Gals.

This is a marvelous suggestion but, there is another group, mostly unknown and largely forgotten. They are the residents of the Soldiers and Airman's Home in DC. These vets have nothing and no one or they wouldn't be there. The Home takes any Vet regardless of branch. These folks would appreciate just anything at all. Google it for correct address and details.
