With the 355 away getting the valve guide issue put to bed, something else slipped in and borrowed her spot. At least it's Italian, but I feel an evil force emitting from this beast. I guess the name fits. DIABLO It is nice to have a fellow car nut for a neighbor.
Merry Christmas to our great Texas F/chat group.

You have all my envy for sub'ing 355 for Diablo while 355 is in repair. How do you do that?

That near-life-sized image of the F1 car is awesome. Is it a cardboard cutout or what? :)

They made 5 in 1995. The cutout came from ************.com. When the christmas junk is out of the garage and you pull in Shumi is catching some air coming at you.

Yes I have the keys but a dead battery. We jumped him sunday morning and it died on northwest highway. Right after we pushed it around the corner a car hit the cone we had out protecting us. Juiced the battery enough to get it cleaned that afternoon but now 2 days later it is dead. Probably new battery time. Tried to start it tonight for my 19 year old son and friends, and it didn't even click. Don't see any extended runs because I'm scared s..less it will lay down on me, but some battery juicing driving close by is in the works.

Phillip, all kidding aside, when it died on NW highway, did it stall out due to driver error, or did it just flat die?

If it just stopped running while driving down the road, that may be indicative of a bigger problem, i.e. the alternator not producing enough current to fire the plugs, or keep the battery properly charged. If that's the case the battery will keep the car running until it completely loses it's charge, and then there's not enough juice to keep the cylinders firing.

If it is the alternator, you can put new batteries in all day long and they'll keep discharging. But give it a shot, Always try the simplest thing first. :)

PS, I'm not a factory authorized lamborghini master technician, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night. :)

It was the owner driving, he had only been driving about 1 minute, and he thinks it died when the fans kicked on. He doesn't remember changing batteries, so it may be several years old. Knowing him it will be fixed soon.
