    Mine were empty, but, when I ordered one from Automobile Quarterly in 1978, the application asked for my state of residence. When it arrived, the cork had a license plate that read: "NY." Fred

    On mine is a label: "made in Italy 1975"
    and I think it was original a kind of liqeur inside

    The lamp is also very cool!
