Sorry if this has been asked before, I searched but did not find anything. I have 2 round white dots on the top right corner of my rear window of my 360 Spider. Does anyone know if they serve any purpose? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are they stickers? Has the car ever been tracked do you know? If they're stickers, a WAG is they were once colored and/or dated - Confirmation for the pit exit marshals that both people in the car are "legitimate" (signed waivers etc). [We always used wristbands, but who knows?.....] Again, just a WAG though. Cheers, Ian
One of our local Mercedes dealers marks used cars in the upper corner of the windshield with a nail polish-like paint pen to signify different things to the salesmen and lot jockeys. Mostly things such as the fact that it has been inspected and the title is clear and on hand. Did you buy it used?
Yes, they are stickers. Pure white, they do not look faded. I do not believe that the car was tracked, although I do know that it will be! Thanks for the WAG!
Yes, I bought it used in AZ. Think perhaps the window-top was replaced and these dots were Mfg marks that simply were not removed? And here I thought this was a dumb question that everyone but me knew about. From now on I'm going to refer to them as my mystery spots!
I'm thinking of keeping them on just for a conversation piece! Let's see, possible answers when asked: 1. Recent F1 championships, it is an 02 after all! 2. 200 hp per dot? 3. 100 mph per dot? 4. Other suggestions?
