Anyone know anything about the white Scuderia down in Dallas @ starwood motors? 2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia Dallas, Texas | Starwood Motors I let my buddy borrow mine for a couple weeks and now he wants one. He's not scared of the mileage, but curious if anyone knows the car or previous owner from here or has any intel that could help. How are the guys at Boardwalk Ferrari? Ideally I can get him a PPI there and he can pay for the power normal warranty once it passes before we get it out to San Diego.
Kinda... But it depends on history, mileage, etc. The pricing guide would have it at 160-165 or so I believe with no insight to history on the car: Base 08: $185k no miles Miles up to 10,000 miles: -$2/mile Miles over 10,000 miles: -$1/mile Leather or Full Tech Fabric interior: -$5k Silverstone, White (either Fuji or Avus): +$5k
Painted front bumper air scoops. It was not like that when I was interested in this car 1.5 years ago. At that time it was being sold by a Bentley dealer in NY and it was very clean and stock. The car sold at auction to another dealer and sat for a while before it sold. The non-standard stripe makes it a hard sell if you care about that.
Yeah, looks like it became a 'show' car since then and acquired about 10k miles and hundreds of lbs in excess weight. What were your other thoughts on it otherwise Stevely? what did you end up getting instead and what turned you away from that one? (just curious, as it seems like when it was in NY it was low mileage and stock...then it got some super cool LEDs in the doors )
Holy crap!!! $157k for a Scud?!!?!? What is this world coming to?? Someone do some research on this car
It looked like a great car at the time. I never saw it in person though. Ultimately the stripe did me in. I even went as far as looking into getting a silver stripe sticker to put over it. In the end I wasn't going to spend 180k on a car to put a sticker on it. Plus I wanted a yellow tach having had a red one in my 430. I think now with all the bling mods on this car, it'll be even harder to sell. For some reason black with red border stripe cars just don't sell. There was a great 09 red scud in Colorado with a black n red stripe that couldn't give it away at 170k 1.5 yrs ago. I ended up w a pristine 1 owner 08 corsa scud with silver stripe, yellow tach, US carbon, bata, 4200 miles.
I would want to see the car in person to say the least. Hopefully the "mods" were add properly and not drilled in or anything permanent. It's also been on the market for a while in comparison to others. If it were me, I'd rather spend another 20-30k to get a car that doesn't need to be un-pimped
My buddy sold his 08 scud with 8 k miles like new all Keyes to a dealer and its been more than 6 months for sale at 174k it's blk I'm surprised its still for sale
The white scud and black stripe looks great. All the speakers and led garbage horrible. Wrong car for that.
The contact for that white scud is NOT to be trusted............or let me put it this way....I would not be a tricycle from any dealership he represents.
I agree. It's priced right for someone who wants to take on the 'risk'. However as Fiorano57 said this may be one of those too good to be true deals. It's because it's black. They sit for a LONG time. I presume it's because they don't show the lines as well. As the formula says, white commands a premium all things being equal. Red is resale red. And black .... well the market has shown a 5-10k deduction for the savvy shopper who can take advantage of the typical black scud sitting on the market.
See at the wheel arches, the bumper is very poorly mounted, on both sides for almost one inch not flush mounted. Definitely the wrong way how to assemble a Scud. Such a bungling makes me crazy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Straight pipes from cat to end tips, should be very loud... But still wonder about the posting that leather interior should be a -5K reduction...
Also, marks on front left bumper. Could be dirt or could be gashes. As mentioned the front bumper has multiple issues (fitment, air scoops painted white, defects). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Run a search for Scud Price Guide, I was just quoting from there - it has held pretty close to true as a baseline from what I have seen.
