Just me but 308s seem to look best with stock wheels or something close.
Star fish wheels have never been my favorite, and thinking white would be hard to keep clean as in brake pad dust.
Some pictures of cars with non stock wheels look "funny" but when you see them in person it clicks .... Wow that looks good, and it works.

I always thought gold looked cool on a red 308. I saw a car once with OE 16 wheels, where the lips and barrels had been polished to a mirror finish, and then a gloss gold had been applied to the centers. A shame I don't have a pic of that one.

    Factory is my choice....

Maybe gold if you wanted a non-stock look.

I hate 360 wheels and I hate painted wheels, so I loathe both these wheels.

I have white wheels, on a 25th Anniversary TransAm 6 speed manual...

They are part of the total appearnace of this machine, (white leather interior also!) so there was not much to be done about it.

That said, brake dust, and the chemicals to clean it, and road gravel, all of these "real world" factors come into play. Ferrari Challenge wheels are on and off the car for new tires so often that a respray is no big deal as part of routine maintenance.

If you DO decide to run white wheels, as I do, you will be faced with it also, about every other set of tires!

    Just part of the game....

See, as part of the "I'm a racer" look, they look fine.

So the official voting at the party was declared "too close to call" due to hanging chads and Bud Light. But that was a real moral victory for my white 5 spoke-loving friend as the white hadn't been scoring too well in informal surveys.

Soon, because it's my car, not everyone's car, I'll be peeling the white off and going with the grey all around. Although all the Fchat suggestions for gold were noted...... and it IS Just Plasti-Dip.........

    Thanks for playing, everyone!

The grey looks better, it makes the car look more aggressive.
