I've been lurking here for quite a while mainly in the 348/355 section and I'm ready to jump.

I'm a gearhead that's done it all with American V8's.... too bad I can't post pictures here yet, I'm sure you guys would appreciate the eye candy of fully polished engines with twin turbos hooked on, even if they aren't sitting in an F-car.

I'm seriously wanting to turn my attention to Ferraris now.

My plan is to buy a 355, basically become a stooge here about that car since I always do my own work and like to make tutorial threads (like I've done on other forums).

I need to find a shop, either big name or indie shop that would let me (even if I had to pay them just to watch) see the entire process of a Major/Minor major on a 348/355. I want to get all the tips and tricks in my mind so I can use this with my own 355 I'll get this year. My eventual goal is to perhaps become friends with a mechanic or two there and that will help with what I always to to all my cars... forced induction. (I know the stock engine will pop, internal changes including custom pistons, etc will be needed along with fueling and programming, fabrication, etc, etc)

For now, I just want the basic and intermediate knowledge.

So far, all I can think of are Ferrari of Atlanta and possibly Underground Racing.... are there any others you can think of I can contact about this? PM's are fine too. :D

I've gotten 2 PMs so far.. one as a referral and an actual shop that has offered.

I'm very grateful for everything thus far, thanks again.

    Cheers
