Super. I apologize for the poor quality of the pics. They were taken with my cell phone. I left my 8 megapixel good camera at home. Doh! -- Out of pure luck (yes, me taking this photo at the right time was luck), I happened to snap a picture exactly at the same time that the Ducks scored for the sixth time. -- This one actually came out looking OK. -- Jumbotron says: "The Anaheim Ducks are the first team from California to win the Stanley Cup." That got some cheers.
The series was amazing and the team who deserved to win it did! I wish the last game was more exciting from a non bias point of view, I bet ducks fans loved it. The ducks do have an amazing team and ya next year is already on its way!
Atleast it wasnt Tampa Bay. Apparently they had to give away free beer for people to go to the Stanley Cup Playoff games when they played in 03-04.
I disagree. I think the Stanley Cup looks like a natural born fit for Southern California... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I say the Vancouver Canucks will win the Stantly Cup this year, ill watch everygame ! and btw tgood, honestly, south california does not deserve the cup, im just talking about hockey here.. the canucks gm place can hold about 18,900 people and we have been sold out over 175 time's , the cup belong's in Vancouver GO CANUCKS GO
6 pages and nobody mentioned the Penguins. Yes, they lost to Ottawa, but this team wasn't supposed to even be in the playoffs, and they were third in the division. With a year of playoff experience this team will go far. They may not win the cup this year but they will win one soon. You can't count any team out, that has Sydney Crosby, Jordan Staal, E Malkin, and Fleury. My pick for Stanley Cup finals Pittsburgh and Anaheim after a Pittsburgh and Buffalo division final. I also agree with the fact that VS is not cutting it as a network for hockey. They need to get back on ESPN or Fox. NBC's coverage ranged from bad to pathetic. They never advertised as they should have, and when they showed the games we got the overtime cup game, where they switched over in the middle of the game, to their cable channel, to show an hour of prerace horse race coverage. I'm just glad we still have a team in Pittsburgh. After all the crap we were put thru the last two years, I am thrilled to say they will be here for a long time.
Just get the NHL Season Pass from Directv---well worth the price of admission when you can see every single game.
