I need this for work. Who cannibalized between 1900-2000? What countries, what conditions, what numbers? We all see the photos of Germans & the concentration camps but the horror goes deeper. Historical facts please. Links to photos?

Around 1900 there was a severe famine in southern China and Hong Kong. Cannibalism was regularly practiced as a means of survival. Children would be exchanged between families so relatives didn't have to eat their own. I cannot imagine a greater hell to experience. One westerner that gladly partaked in this morbid activity was future child-rapist and killer Albert Fish. Search online sometime, one of the most ****ed up individuals you will ever read about.

During the Chinese Civil War in the mid 20's to WWII, millions more died or were displaced. Hard to carry a rice paddy with you when you are running for your life. Cannibalism of killed civilians is noted to have occured.

During WWII, the savage Japanese army engaged in all sorts of terrible things against the Chinese people. Cannibalism was one of them.

After WWII, Mao took power. Unfortunately for China Mao was an idiot, and after taking power in China dictated what every farm was to grow. So pull up olive trees that had stood for a hundred years and plant wheat even though the soil was incompatible, etc. Or be forced to turn in plows to be melted down for steel production, pure genius. As a result in the late 50's, early 60's there was a gigantic famine in the Chinese countryside with estimates of over 30 million dead. There is strong evidence that cannibalism took place during this time
