Is there anyone here who is or knows a contact? I live in a fairly "dry" Porsche environment, meaning there are few, very few. I am looking for a 98-99 base right now just to get my feet wet. The car I buy may have options or might be an S, the year will most likely be from 98-2000. I wouldn't want a dark colour for the exterior or interior. {Perhaps silver ext. and a beige int.} I'm not looking for the lowest milage, although if it is higher in milage it must have a bulletproof service history and a somewhat recent service. I read about the RMS issue and a few other minor ones, like a loose connection causing the roof not to go up or down, cranky door locks, a ticking noise from the dash, cracking oil filler hoses, vibrating rear window, scratchy sounding clutch pedals and seat cushion covers that become uneven. The car can have issues that are now resolved or issues that will be resolved, in other words the car doesn't have to be mint. It can even have a rebuilt motor in it, as long as the paper work is there to back up the quality. I won't want it scratched or dinged and I would prefer if it comes from it's 1st owner, dealer maintained would be of course what I'm looking for.
