    I have seen many pictures of the LaFerrari exhibit but does anyone have close-up shots of the sketches on the wall? There is a large diagram showing the process from first models to finished product but no where online can I find pictures of this.

    Nice! That would be a pretty cool ride to show up in. Ferrari will probably sell it like they did with the Enzo mule.

    The book mentioned in this thread has a diagram showing the narrowing down process, starting with nine concepts, two of which were from Pininfarina. It doesn't show any of the sketches from PF but it does show small renderings of the concepts from them.

    Thanks. I have searched pretty exhaustively and that video is the best look I've found of the different design proposals. Maybe the next issue of Auto & Design magazine will have more on the development.

    It seems that there were actually two designs that Flavio Manzoni liked. He is saving the other design for a special edition which would be limited to a series of perhaps ten cars. These cars however would be in the 4-5 mil price range.

    I was just reading it!
    finally got to see Pininfarina's cars
    there is also an article on the design of the MC12
    one of their better issues of late IMHO

    John, are those pictured in the photos here - in thread - already? I've had a hard time trying to figure out which "Pininfarina concepts" being mentioned are?

    No I don't recall seeing the PF designs before. The article says there were 3 internal Ferrari Design full size clays and 2 PF clays.

    They chose the right one. :)
