This season is nearly decided. So, we'll start with next. I am curious who you want to have on the podium. I am curious to know who you think has the most personality, what team you want to see win, etc. To me Kimi is boring, he doesn't seem to care either way. JPM has way too much attitude/childish comments. I would like to see Benson up there for the first time or have Schumacher return. To me, they are at least seemingly, the ones who want it the most.

    Who gets your vote?

MS world champ again, retires with a statement, " Im going to live quietly at my Swiss home and I have faith in the next world champ," as he pats his replacement on the shoulder at a press conference two weeks after the season ending race... hell, have JPM in the crowd yell out, " I'm going to miss you!"

No fading away or ill attempts to get back in by some odd capacity. Retire a world champion driver and have the image and respect of everyone that you left it like that.

Sorry Till but thats impossible, I think Schuey is well pissed off now and won't leave just yet . I'd like to see him power back next year with the new V8's but if he doesn't win next year and doesn't move to McLaren then I see him quietly dissapearing with a wimper.

Bridgestone are going to let Ferrari down again next year. Mclaren will be more reliable and KR will be world champ.

I will like to see Villeneuve fighting for victories / podiums but I'm not sure BMW will be a top team.

I would really like to see Heidfeld is he is with BMW or Fisichella and even Barichello. Hopefully BAR will be better next year and Barichello will have a car to win in.

For some reason, I really want the BAR-Honda team to win. Barichello and Button in any 1-2 combo would be great.

Kimi Raikkonen ... the poor guy deserves it this year for all the speed he has shown - hopefully McLaren will get their act together.

Of course Michael clinching the title would be a great swansong if he indeed retires next year but no matter whether he finishes first or last he will still be the All-time Top 5 in my book. He doesnt need to win it again just to prove it.

Unless BAR comes up with $20MM, there's not a chance that he's driving for that team. Sir Frank doesn't f*** around.

Ralf is a terrible under-performer! The only way he will win the championship is if everyone else drives a Minardi :)

What's with all of the non-Ferrari contender hopes? i.e. KR, JPM, JT, JV, GF, etc, etc, etc.

I'm surprised to see so many not hoping for a Ferrari title. Do we not remember the dark ages between Scheckter and Michael?? Have Ferrari titles become mundane? Geeesh.

I'll be pulling for Schumi of course...

    but other than that:

    Jenson Button
Kimi Raikkonen - because he's had such a tough time the past few years, he really is an amazing driver
Juan Pablo Montoya - If he wins, he may bring more US interest towards Formula 1... besides, I like saying his name

Until this season, hoping for Ferrari to win seemed like hoping for snow in AK. It seemed a given to me. Granted, I started watching in 2002. It is pretty clear that Ferrari is starting to look past Shumacher into their future. Unfortanately, I see very few drivers that look as excited about winning as Schumacher does. As I said before, Button seems like one of the few. But unless Bridestone makes a serious breakthrough I don't see how they are going to pull of a victory next season.

I would love to see MS get back on top and retire the champ, but Massa will do as well considering hes in a Ferrari.

obviously, i'd like schumi 2 fight and get his hands on it again, and if he plans 2 retire after that, he'll retire not only with respect, but also as the 8 time champ...personally, JPM doesn't have the character needed to be a champ, so, non ferrari, i'd like to see kimi, rubens or even button...
